The Legend of Tommy Rockix and Galactic Crunch is the story of the original inhabitants of the Planet Earth, who lived millions of years ago, before the dinosaurs existed and history as we know it began.

Due to environmental changes the entire population was forced to leave the planet to ensure the survival of their technologically advanced civilization. Using a teleportation device, they were able to transport their entire civilization to a different planet on the edge of the Milky Way Galaxy. They called their new home Novatec, and longed for the day that they might return to see what had become of their first home, their original world, their Earth.

Now, millions of years later, Novatec's young superheroes, Tommy Rockix and Galactic Crunch, travel the galaxy as ambassadors of Novatec, delivering knowledge and technology to less developed civilizations that face eminent danger, natural disasters and even global social collapse.

On each mission, a specially selected Earth child is invited to join the team. Chosen for his or her particular knowledge or insight of the task at hand, the earth child adds to Tommy & Galactic Crunch’s arsenal of unique talents and latest technological advancements.

In preparation for their greatest adventure beyond the Milky Way Galaxy Tommy and Galactic Crunch  - accompanied by Tommy's guardian and best friend Nanno  - travel to present day planet Earth seeking the assistance of Alisha Spectra.  Their mission, come to the aid of Planet Vivadon, where a stray comet has drained the colors from the planet and the ‘zest for life’ from its people.

Vivadon, once home to a Galactic Animal Preserve and Carnival sits on the verge of complete collapse. It’s up to Tommy and his team to make things right.  But it won’t' be easy because generations have passed since the comet first struck leaving Vivadon, renamed Planet Slowmo, populated by some of the most obtuse, uninterested beings you'll ever meet.

Our super hero team is complete upon their arrival on Vivadon when allied by two local inhabitants - twin brothers Squish and Squash Madrix, who unlike the rest of their population, still seek discovery and adventure at every turn. 

When they came across a discarded crate of crayons from the planet Earth and saw the inspiring effects they had on their people, they set out on a mission to try and save their planet and their people.  The brother’s conquer their fears and build up the courage to seek the assistance of ‘The Scourge of the Seven Nebulae’ - Premoe and Pimit - Captain and First Mate of the Backwards Bomber’s crew of Space Pirate Salvagers.  They’ve been visiting Vivadon for years since the comet struck and fancy removing the burden of ‘keeping all this stuff lying around’ from the people of Vivadon.

All along, the brothers are driven by the wondrous glow and promise of a single remaining green crayon.

Squish and Squash unexpectedly run into Tommy and his team when they themselves travel to Earth in a spaceship lent to them by the Backwards Bomber.  Who on the surface appears to be acting solely out of good wishes, but has other devious plans up his robotic sleeve.

Misguided and only wanting to do whatever it takes to save their people, Squish and Squash steal thousands of crayons from the The Kraymora Crayon factory in Pennsylvania, where coincidentally the selected earth child for this mission Alisha Spectra’s father Rashmi, works as the Director of Color development and Theory.  It's not long after that our team of superheroes is hot on their tail now joined by Alisha, traveling across the Milky Way Galaxy in a determined pursuit of these unassuming thieves.

Once returning home, Squish and Squash are saddened to find that for some reason all of the crayons they have brought back from Earth appear different than those they had found at the abandoned Space Port on their planet, Slowmo.  These crayons no longer have color!  Like everything else on Slowmo they are just dingy shades of grey suffering from the effects of the comet that struck long before Squish and Squash were even born.

Before they can begin to question what happened they are found by Tommy - and admit their wrong doing.  Tommy seeing that it’s all been a simple misunderstanding, lets the brothers know that all is well because he and his team have been sent to Slowmo to do exactly what Squish and Squash had hoped ... to save the planet and its people.

The main antagonist, Dr. Zeppo Beatrice Betwedder, is the nephew of Dr. Eugene Betwedder, the greatest scientific mind in the history of Novatec. Eugene disappeared while testing a device of his own invention, called The Think Tank, in an attempt to travel 'Beyond the Rim' of the Milky Way Galaxy and into the unexplored universe beyond.  Zeppo will stop at almost nothing to reactivate the Think Tank and save Uncle Eugene, even if it means turning against all of Novatec.

It was Zeppo’s maniacal desire to search for his Uncle that resulted in him being exiled from Novatec to the artificial planetoid Terranex, but not before he was able to take an untested age reducing formula that gives him eternal life but forever left him trapped in the body of a young boy. 

In hopes of being taken seriously as he pursued assistance to besiege Novatec, Zeppo has created an alter-Ego; the Backwards Bomber.  At his side is a crew of Space Salvagers - who fancy themselves Pirates.  Zeppo – as his mechanical alter ego - sends his motley crew across the Galaxy to seek out even the most unassuming piece of discarded technology in hopes that in his hands - it might be of use. 

Zeppo, growing impatient, has decided to risk everything to acquire the additional technology he needs to further his search for his Uncle by attempting to intercept technology deliveries to other planets from Novatec.  Not wanting to risk being found out Zeppo uses his disguise as the Backwards Bomber to plan his return to Novatec and launch a final assault to capture the Think Tank, but not before he is ready.

Tommy and friends face a monumental challenge as they try and prepare the people of Slowmo for the great changes that will occur on activation of the Miagee Turbo Special and Vacuous Maximus.  Two wonders of Novatecian technology that will reverse the effects of the comet impact on the Vivadonian Sun.

After setting things right with Squish and Squash and gaining their trust, the team returns to the Food Court of the Galactic Carnival where Squish and Squash have made their home.  As if things weren’t bad enough the population is even more disinterested in getting any help as they are all feeling the after effects of their sudden uncontrolled exposure to the ‘color sticks’ spread throughout the town by Squish and Squash.

But with a little detective work and taking the sage old advice of senior members of the population, Tommy and company come up with a plan as they revive an old Vivdonian tradition of  ‘Space Fest’ an annual celebration on Vivadon,  not celebrated for generations since the comet struck.

Music, light, aromas, the power of technology and teamwork come together as the Vivadonian Sun is returned to normal and her people rejoice - realizing all that they once were - restoring their planetary Animal Preserve and Carnival to the wondrous, welcoming spectacle that it once was.
